Nate’s Monday Morning Message

Welcome to this edition of Nate’s Monday Morning Message…today I’d like you to listen to the wise words of Brendon Burchard, and if you like what he has to say, consider subscribing to his YouTube channel. There are so many tools and options these days to find inspiration, encouragement, training, and all sorts of help. The difference between those who succeed and those who don’t comes down to one thing: they don’t stop. Let’s make it a great week!

ENCOURAGEMENT CORNER

WORDS OF INSPIRATION

“Without continual growth and progress, such words as improvement, achievement, and success have no meaning.” - Benjamin Franklin

“Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do.” - Pele

“The secret of your success is determined by your daily agenda.” - John C. Maxwell

Nate’s Monday Morning Message

Welcome to this edition of Nate’s Monday Morning Message…I hope you all had a rewarding weekend! We have spent weeks and months working on coming up with the things we desire and a plan to achieve our goals over the next year. Now, we must dive in to the tasks we need to accomplish in order to hit our goals. Most of us are good at focusing on tasks at hand when we do them one-by-one and/or if they don't take very long. We run into a challenge when the tasks must be done repeatedly and for a long time. This is where our focus must be strengthened, and our true desires must be solid.

If you desire to have better relationships, focus on being more present in the moment with those people. If you desire more confidence, focus on your self-image and the great things you have to share. If you desire more money, focus on doing the tasks you identified that will produce revenue. Focus is differentiators. Lots and lots of people can come up with a plan. Lots and lots of people have desires. The challenge for many is the focus needed to do what is needed day after day without getting thrown off track. Let’s make it a great week!

ENCOURAGEMENT CORNER

Where we place our focus, the rest of our mind and emotions will follow. One of the quickest ways to begin to strengthen your focus muscles is to practice the 5%/95% rule. That means to focus no more than 5% on what you don't want and 95% on what you do want.

Focus 5% on what you fear, and 95% on getting educated and skilled to face it.

Focus 5% on the problem, and 95% on the healthiest solution.

Focus 5% on the mistake, and 95 % on learning from it.

Focus 5% on who to blame, and 95% on making sure to heal.

Focus 5% on what you must do, and 95% on enjoying the process of it.

Focus 5% on the conflict, and 95% on the win-win-win resolution.

Focus 5% on what you can't control, and 95% on what you do have control over.

Focus 5% on what others say, and 95% on what you believe.

Focus 5% on what you have, and 95% on what you want to have.

Focus 5% on reading this, and 95% on applying it.

Nate's Monday Morning Message

Nate’s Monday Morning Message

Welcome to Nate’s Monday Morning Message! Today we are reminded of a man who left a massive mark on the world, and started a movement that has forever changed the lives of millions of people. I am inspired by MLK Jr. and his tenacity despite the obstacles he faced. He never waived from his goal and his message, even from a jail cell in Alabama. We can learn a lot from his commitment to the outcome, and be reminded that “faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase.” Let’s make it a great week!

Nate’s Monday Morning Message

Welcome to Nate’s Monday Morning Message! I trust that the first official week of the New Year has been a good one, and that you are ready to welcome the opportunities that the New Year offers. I saw this quote the other day, and it has stuck with me, so I thought I would share it with you today… “Everything about how you live your life is an expression of how much you love being alive.” Bruce Van Horn

Life is meant to be lived to its fullest, and how we spend our days is an expression of how much we value being alive. As you dive into your New Year’s resolutions and goals, I hope you will consider this quote. How will you live your life in 2018? Let’s make it a great week!

ENCOURAGEMENT CORNER

A Glass of Milk

A young poor boy who was begging from door to door to feed his hungry stomach, decided he would ask for a meal at the next house. However, he lost his nerve when a lovely young woman opened the door. Instead of a meal, he just asked for a glass of water, the woman thought he looked hungry, so she brought him a large glass of milk. He drank it slowly, and then asked "how much do I owe you?."

"You don't owe me anything, she replied. Mother has taught us never to accept pay for kindness." He said, "Then I thank you from my heart."

Years later, that young woman became critically ill, the local doctors were battling because they couldn't cure her, they finally sent her to the big city, where they called specialists to study her rare illness.

Dr. Howard Kelly was called in for the consultation, when he heard the name of the town where she came from, a strange light filled his eyes. Immediately, he rose and went down the hall of the hospital to her room. He recognized her at once.

He went back to the consultation room determined to do his best to save her life. From that day, he gave special attention to that case. After a long struggle, the battle was won! Dr. Kelly requested the business office to pass the final bill to him for approval. He looked at it, then wrote something on the bill. It was sent to her room, the woman feared opening it, for she was sure it might take the rest of her life to pay for it all.

Finally she looked, and noticed something was written at the edge of the note, “paid in full with a glass of milk.” Tears filled her eyes as she immediately remembered...

Every form of kindness you show doesn't bounce, it reproduces itself. Not necessarily before your eyes, but it always does. It is good to be good. Always be nice for it always comes back to you.

Nate’s Monday Morning Message - Happy New Year!

Welcome to the New Year’s Day edition of Nate’s Monday Morning Message! It is the first day of the New Year and I hope you are filled with excitement and wonder of what will be in store for all of us over the next twelve months. It is a clean slate, and an opportunity to commit to your goals and resolutions. But before you dive into the New Year, here are a few questions to ask yourself…

1. What was your best accomplishment in 2017?
2. What is something that is holding you back? And how can you let it go?
3. What are you committed to achieving in 2017?
4. How are you going to work on building long-term wealth?
5. What are you most grateful for?
6. Who do you need to forgive?
7. What new habits will you cultivate for 2017?

Wishing you and your loved ones a very happy New Year…I look forward to providing you with weekly inspiration in 2018! Let’s make it a great week!

WORDS OF INSPIRATION

“And now we welcome the new year. Full of things that have never been.” - Rainer Maria Rilke

“The object of a New Year is not that we should have a new year. It is that we should have a new soul and a new nose; new feet, a new backbone, new ears, and new eyes. Unless a particular man made New Year resolutions, he would make no resolutions. Unless a man starts afresh about things, he will certainly do nothing effective.” - Gilbert K. Chesterton

“Cheers to a new year and another chance for us to get it right.” - Oprah Winfrey

“All of us every single year, we're a different person. I don't think we're the same person all our lives.” - Steven Spielberg

“Be at war with your vices, at peace with your neighbors, and let every new year find you a better man.” - Benjamin Franklin
