"Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow." Written Melody Beattie

This Thanksgiving we would like to express our gratitude for the opportunity we have had to work with so many wonderful families, as they pursue their real estate goals. We appreciate the confidence you have instilled in us as your preferred real estate team and we value your business, now and in the future.

May you and your loved one has a very happy, healthy and safe Thanksgiving Holiday! Nate

Nate's Monday Message

Nate's Monday Message

Welcome to this edition of Nate's Monday Message. This week and every week we have the opportunity to be thankful and smile. Let us smile and be thankful this morning for it is Monday - a new week begins. Let us, as always, plan to do the things we must do and plan to do the things we want to do. Let us take full control over our actions and emotions and put them both to use to achieve our dreams.

Many times we lose sight of the importance of right now. Please be reminded that now will never come again - so do not waste it. Sometimes we get stuck in the mindset of complacency. Snap out of it. Please be reminded that now will never come again - so do not waste it. Sometime we want to hurry through things and not give it our all. Please be reminded that now will never come again -so do not waste it. We must make the choice to be present at all time. We must make the choice to give it our all no matter what we are doing. We must make the choice to change the things we do not like no matter how hard it may be. Strive for Happiness - Nothing Else. Wishing everyone a happy and blessed Thanksgiving week.

Be thankful that you don't already have everything you desire. If you did, what would there be to look forward to?

Be thankful when you don't know something, for it gives you the opportunity to learn new things.

Be thankful for the difficult times. Those are the times you grow.

Be thankful for your limitations, because they give you opportunities for improvement.

Be thankful for your mistakes. They will teach you valuable lessons for the future.

Be thankful when you are tired and weary, because it means you've made a difference. It’s easy to be thankful for the good things. A life of rich fulfillment comes to those who are also thankful for the setbacks and bumpy times. Find a way to be thankful for your troubles, and they can become your blessings.

Nate's Monday Morning Message

Nate's Monday Morning Message

Welcome to this edition of Nate's Monday Morning Message. This week and every week we have the opportunity to make the most from our relationships. When you think of all the things that you have to do today, tomorrow, and the next day please remember that each one of these presents an opportunity for you. You can do whatever is needed to the best of your ability with a good positive attitude and make it enjoyable or you can choose another path. The paths that we choose each day is what gives us happiness or stress.

It is not the people around us or the things that need to be done. It is the attitude we have and the reason we do what we do. We are all blessed with tremendous opportunity. What we do with it is completely up to us. Yes, there will be challenges. There always are. Yes, there may be disappointments. There sometimes is. Yes, there will be tremendous happiness. There will be if you decide that is what you want. Let us have fun in all we do and let us make the very most of each and every opportunity that comes our way. Let's Make This The Best Week Of The Year!

Give Me the Wind.

I am at my best with the wind in my face,
When overcoming the challenge, with pace.
The pace that requires more effort, more strength.
But once gained momentum, endures with great length.

It's easy to sit back, placid and calm
Comfort is only a relative balm.
It seems an advantage, better than strife
But is dulled by stagnation, stifling life.

Progress needs movement, energy, drive,
No chance for improvement if you do not strive.
Nothing's for nothing: cause and effect.
That which you work for, you've more chance to get.

So give me the wind, let it blow in my face,
The more I confront, the more strength I'll embrace.
Steps are not mounted, nor challenge overcome.
Without certain courage or effort be done.

Nate's Monday Morning Message

Welcome to this edition of Nate's Monday Morning Message. This week and every week we have the opportunity to find ways to make positive differences with our lives. This week let us remember what it is that we can do to help and influence the people around us. Regardless of what position or role in our work life or in our personal life we currently play, we all are fortunate to have the opportunity to create strong positive relationships with the people around us.

We all are blessed to have the ability to influence those that we meet and know. We all are gifted to have the responsibility to do more with all the great talents and skills and energy we have. Let us not allow another wasted moment to go by. We can choose. What will it be? Let's Make This The Best Week Of The Year! Happy Veteran's Day - Service to country can occur in many ways and today we are reminded and very thankful for all the Veteran's who have served our great country. Thank you and God Bless You.

The Legend of Echo

A son and his father were walking on the mountains.
Suddenly, his son falls, hurts himself and screams: "AAAhhhhhhhhh!!!"
To his surprise, he hears a voice repeating: "AAAhhhhhhhhh!!!"
Curious, he yells: "Who are you?"
He receives the answer: "Who are you?"
Angered at the response, he screams: "Coward!"
He receives the answer: "Coward!"
He looks at his father and asks: "What's going on?" The father smiles and says: "My son, pay attention."
And the father screams to the mountain: "I admire you!"
The voice answers: "I admire you!"
Again the man screams: "You are a champion!"
The voice answers: "You are a champion!"
The boy is surprised, but does not understand. Then the father explains: "People call this an ECHO, but really this is LIFE.
It gives you back everything you say or do.
Our life is simply a reflection of our actions.
If you want more love in the world,
Create more love in your heart.
If you want more competence in your team,
Improve your competence.
This relationship applies to everything in all aspects of life.
Life will give you back everything you have given to it. Your life is not a coincidence. It's a reflection of you!

October National Housing Report from RE/MAX

by Nate Martinez

October National Housing Report from RE/MAX

Home sales and prices in September were lower than August, but remained significantly higher than September last year. This makes September the 20th consecutive month for year-over-year increases in both sales and prices.

September home sales were up 10.7% and the Median Price of $185,000 was 12.2% above the price in September 2012. The RE/MAX Housing Report, a survey of MLS transaction data in 52 metropolitan areas, also found that inventory continues to decline at a slower rate. This is closer to the 6-month supply recognized as a balanced market with an equal number of buyers and sellers.

“It’s normal for the housing market to slow down a bit after the peak summer season, but it’s really encouraging to see that both sales and prices remain significantly higher than this time last year. The strong performance we saw this summer and throughout 2013 confirms we’ve passed the early stages of a housing recovery and are now moving toward a sustainable marketplace.” Margaret Kelly, CEO of RE/MAX, LLC
