Looking to Buy? Consider a New Home

by Nate Martinez

Looking to Buy? Consider a New Home

According to an article I read today by CNN Money, new homes sales have increased by 28 percent above year-earlier levels. But with low inventory, the prices of new homes have gone up too - reported to have gone up 11 percent from July.

Here in Arizona, we are seeing renewed activity in the new home market as well as availability of new home inventory. Currently, there is little less than a two month supply of resale homes on the market in Maricopa County. Why wait any longer? With low inventory, prices will naturally go up and if you continue to wait, you will only end up paying more for a home. If you are looking to buy, consider a new home.

My team and I have been helping Arizona home buyers for almost thirty years - new home purchases are no exception. Before you make a move, it is important to have professional representation - even for new homes.

I make it easy to search for new homes across the valley. Click here and search all the available inventory, right from the convenience of your computer. Buying a home has never been a better idea - if you are looking, then you should consider a new home. Check it out and then email me for a new home consultation.

I look forward to hearing from you soon - Nate.

Arizona Coming in 4th for Job Growth

Arizona Coming in 4th for Job Growth

According to a report released by the Arizona State University last week, Arizona is coming in 4th for job growth.

North Dakota had the highest job growth, up 6.9 percent from last year, California up 2.6 percent and Oklahoma is up 2.5 percent. Arizona had 2.4 percent growth, which is a full percentage point higher than the national average. The metro Phoenix job growth was 2.9 percent from last year.

According to the report, construction jobs are among those leading the growth right now in Arizona. "I guess that is probably at the top of the list for surprises," said Lee McPheters, a business professor at Arizona State University. "That is up 7.3 percent or more than 8,000 jobs in the last 12 months. That shows that part of the economy, which has always been important, has slowly been picking up steam."

Good news for the Arizona economic recovery as well as the housing industry. To read the full article, click here.

If you or someone you know is considering a move, new construction has taken a strong lead on housing options for homebuyers. If you are interested in learning more about the available new construction in the Valley, please click here.

Tired of Multiple Offers? New Home Solution

After the market crashed in 2008, most of us focused our attention on buying and selling bank owned properties or negotiating short sales with mortgage companies. Recently I was reminded of what used to be a very essential piece to the housing market - new home construction - an industry most of us have literally forgotten about for the past few years.

If you have been pinched by low inventory, investors over-bidding or you are tired of multiple offers, new homes maybe the solution. Currently there are just over 11,000 homes actively for sale in Maricopa County and this number is dropping every day. To help our clients realize their dream of homeownership, I have added a new feature to my website - a search engine specifically dedicated to new home construction in the Valley. Nate's New Home Solution.

If you or someone you know is considering a home purchase, now is the time to act. New home permits are on the rise and the builders are back with a vengeance. It is time to take advantage of attractive pricing and awesome interest rates - before its too late. I invite you to virtual shop for your new home - if you are tired of multiple offers, a new home maybe the solution for you. Nate's New Home Solution - click now to start shopping!
