Are You Making History?

“The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in the moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.” – Martin Luther King, Jr.

Today is a great day in our history. It is a day that reminds us that people are the ones who make a difference in our world. People, one-by-one, decide that a change is needed and they work to make a difference.

The greatest thing about change, is that the people do not need to be political figures or national leaders or stand for any particular cause. We each have the ability to make a difference in our lives, in our communities, in the world. And these changes we make, no matter how small or big, can make history.

So today, ask yourself: am I making history? Am I contributing to the good of the cause? Am I living to the best of my abilities? How can you make a difference? Think about what you can do…I assure you, no matter who you are, there is something you can contribute that will make a difference. It just depends if you are willing to rise up and do it.

Celebrate the day and make a difference! Nate
