In Loving Memory of Mark Parris of RE/MAX Renaissance

Losing a member of the RE/MAX family is always a heartbreaking loss for the whole company, and it is with great sadness that we announce the death of our beloved friend and colleague, Mark Parris.

Mark Taylor Parris, 44, passed away October 29th, 2018. He suffered from sleep apnea and passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home located in Peoria, Arizona. Mark was born October 12th, 1974 in Phoenix, Arizona to Eddy and Betty Parris. Mark was a 1992 graduate of Apollo High School and also attended Arizona State University.

In 2005, Mark and his father, Eddy, established and operated RE/MAX Renaissance Realty. Always promoting the success of others, Mark strove to create the family-oriented company it has become. With an infectious smile and heartfelt hugs, Mark had a gift for making people know they are valued. He was known for his deep love of others and his caring nature. In addition to his strong work ethics, Mark pursued many passions. At the young age of four he started playing hockey, which continued throughout his life. Mark’s other interests included performing and making music, golfing, performing magic tricks, enjoying the theater, mentoring and teaching others, giving back to the community, and above all, building and maintaining relationships with others.

Mark is survived by his father Eddy Parris, mother Betty Parris and stepfather Bill Nelson, sisters Kim Couture, Rhonda Albright, Michelle Parris, Jennifer Ayers, Chandra Black, and brothers Noah Parris and Eric Bauman, plus numerous extended family.

There has been an outpouring of love and support for Mark’s family and friends as his passing has deeply impacted his community. Friends and family of Mark are invited to join in the Celebration of Life service for him this Saturday, November 10th at the Dream City Church located at 21000 N 75th Ave. Glendale, AZ 85308. Viewing service begins at 11:00am, with services to start at 11:30am. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Mark’s name to his favorite charity, Phoenix Children's Hospital.

The Parris Family would love for friends and family to bring in a picture of themselves and Mark to the service, representing a favorite memory or a quote so that the family can view Mark through his friends’ eyes. They will have paper to write quotes on, and please make sure you write on the back of anything, so they know who shared the lovely memory.

Additionally, the RE/MAX Professionals family would like to offer our support to our friends at Renaissance to help and support Mark’s family during this difficult time. A Meal Train has been organized for his family.  Every effort makes a difference when tragedy strikes, so please click here if you would like to volunteer to provide a meal for the Parris family.

Mark was an incredible man and he will be sorely missed. Our thoughts and condolences are with the Parris family at this time.

With Appreciation,

Nate Martinez, RE/MAX Professionals
