Nate's Monday Morning Message

Welcome to this edition of Nate's Monday Morning Message. We all know that we have the ability to help others. In large ways and in small, each of us can do something to help another. At some point in the future, we may be the one that needs a helping hand, a shoulder to cry on, or an ear to listen to us. Try to be that for other people on a regular basis.

Be part of the solutions to problems and not one of the roadblocks. Life is not about what you cannot do, it is about what you can. Be a role model in some way to others. Take the actions necessary to improve your life and the life of those around you. Take the time to be with the people that matter most to you and be fully present. Take the high road every-time and be cautious of the words you use and help lift up instead of tear down. The power that you have to help others has no limits and the rewards it will bring you will be remarkable. Ask yourself this each day, What can I do right now to help someone? Then, as simple as this sounds, DO IT. Action is always the difference maker. Take the action needed this week to improve your life and the life of those around you.

Somebody said that it couldn't be done,
But he with a chuckle replied
That "maybe it couldn't" but he would be one
Who wouldn't say so till he'd tried.

So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn't be done, as he did it.

Somebody scoffed: "Oh, you'll never do that;
At least no one we know has done it."
But he took off his coat and he took off his hat,
And the first thing we knew he'd begun it.

With a lift of his chin and a bit of a grin,
Without any doubting or quiddit,
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn't be done, and he did it.

There are thousands to tell you it cannot be done,
There are thousands to prophesy failure;
There are thousands to point out to you,
one by one,
The dangers that wait to assail you.

But just buckle right in with a bit of a grin,
Just take off your coat and go to it;
Just start to sing as you tackle the thing
That cannot be done, and you'll do it.
