Nate’s Monday Morning Message

“Cleveland this is for you!” LeBron James

Welcome to Nate’s Monday Message…as they say, history has been made in yesterday’s exciting basketball game between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors. LeBron James played the game of his career which resulted in a 93-89 win for Cleveland – the first franchise championship in history and the first sports win for the city since 1964. I can only imagine the happiness and pride that everyone in Cleveland and the state of Ohio are feeling today! Which has inspired my message for today…what makes someone a champion? What creates a “winning team?” I love all kinds of sports, and I enjoy finding ways to connect my team and my business to the way a professional sports team goes about becoming champions. So this week’s challenge…do you have the heart of a champion? If so, what can you do to study, practice and improve upon your skills, your game? How can you level-up to be the best you can be? Let’s make it a great week!

Promise Yourself:

To be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind;
To talk health, happiness, and prosperity to every person you meet;
To make all your friends feel that there is something in them;
To look at the sunny side of everything and make your optimism come true;
To think only the best, to work only for the best, and to expect only the best;
To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are about your own;
To forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future;
To wear a cheerful countenance at all times and give every living creature you meet a smile;
To give so much time to the improvement of yourself that you have no time to criticize others;
To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear; and too happy to permit the presence of trouble;
To think well of yourself and to proclaim this fact to the world, not in loud words, but in great deeds;
To live in the faith that the whole world is on your side so long as you are true to the best that is in you.
