Nate's Monday Morning Message

Welcome to this edition of Nate's Monday Morning Message. This week and every week we have the opportunity to make sure that we are moving our life in the direction we choose and helping people along the way. Regardless of where you are today, you have the ability to help others. Make a small or large donation to a great cause within your community. Spend some time with your family or friends cleaning up the town park or organizing a charity event. Inspire others to help you and multiply the effort that just you can put in.

There are countless ways that you can make a difference all you need to do is find yours. A truly successful life is not judged solely on the accomplishments of one, but rather the affect it had on many. Choose to live the life of your dreams. Make each and every day count. Strive to leave a lasting legacy and inspire those around you to do more or to do better. I have seen the amazing power that an individual can make and I have seen the truly remarkable differences groups of like minded people can achieve. Decide to make a difference today. Let's Make This The Best Week Of The Year!

Leaders Vs. Followers

When leaders make a mistake, they say, “I was wrong.” When followers make a mistake, they say, “It wasn’t my fault.”

A leader works harder than a follower works, yet has more time; a follower is always “too busy” to do what is necessary.

A leader goes through problems and resolves them; a follower goes around problems but never gets past them.

A leader makes and keeps commitments; a follower makes and forgets promises.

A leader says, “I’m good, but not as good as I ought to be”; a follower says, “I’m not as bad as a lot of other people.”

Leaders listen; followers wait until it’s their turn to talk.

Leaders respect those who are superior to them and try to learn from them; followers resent those who are superior to them and try to avoid them.

Leaders feel responsible for more than their job; followers say, “That’s not my job.”

Leaders say, “There may to be a better way to do this”; followers say, “That’s the way it’s always been done around here.” —Author Unknown
