Nate’s Monday Morning Message

Welcome to Nate’s Monday Message! It’s officially that time of year again – back to school – which means we are back to the daily routine for everyone in the house and the fall temps promise to return soon! This year my youngest, Mila started first grade, and as we prepared to drop her off at the school, she promptly informed her mother and me that she didn’t need us to walk her to class. While it broke our hearts just a little, to see her walk away from the car with her backpack in tow and not even a glance back at us, we do hope she has this much enthusiasm for every day of school!

This week, I thought in honor of our all children starting their first day of the new school year, and the teachers who sacrifice their lives to the education system, I would dedicate this morning’s email to them. Whether it is first grade or a senior in college, education is an essential part of what shapes the future of our communities. We all have that one special teacher who left a special mark in our lives, and along the way teachers may show up in our lives outside of the classroom. Take some time this week to remember and honor those who have helped you along the way, and those who will help your own children. Let’s make it a great week!
