Nate’s Monday Morning Message

Welcome to this edition of Nate's Monday Morning Message. All of us spend a lot of time thinking about all the things we need to fix or improve. How much time do we spend being proud of all that we have accomplished so far or thankful for all the blessings we have? Let us focus some of our attention on those items this week and every week going forward. We must work hard yes, but we must also look at all that has been done and smile. Life is a journey of experiences so let us not forget the past as we build the future. You control your own destiny so take responsibility for it and let’s make this the best week of the year!! Let's Get Up and Go!!

My Dog Can Walk On Water

There was a hunter who came into the possession of a special bird dog. The dog was the only one of its kind, because it can walk on water. One day he invited a friend to go hunting with him so that he could show off his prized possession. After some time, they shot a few ducks, which fell into the river. The man ordered his dog to run and fetch the birds. The dog ran on water to fetch the birds. The man was expecting a compliment about the amazing dog, but did not receive it. Being curious, he asked his friend if the friend had noticed anything unusual about the dog. The friend replied, “Yes, I did see something unusual about your dog. Your dog can’t swim!”

Success Principles

More than 90 percent of the people that we face every day are negative. They choose to look at the hole in the middle rather than the doughnut. Do not expect compliments or encouragement from them. These are the people who cannot pull you out of your present situation. They can only push you down. So be aware of them, spend less time with them, and do not let them steal your dreams away from you.

“The way you see them is the way you treat them and the way you treat them is the way they often become.” – Zig Ziglar

“Gratitude is an attitude that hooks us up to our source of supply. And the more grateful you are, the closer you become to your maker, to the architect of the universe, to the spiritual core of your being. It’s a phenomenal lesson.” – Bob Proctor

“All you need is ignorance and confidence; then success is sure.” – Mark Twain

“Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.” Thomas Edison

“Formulate and stamp indelibly on your mind a mental picture of yourself as succeeding. Hold this picture tenaciously. Never permit it to fade. Your mind will seek to develop the picture.” – Norman Vincent Peale

“Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited, whereas imagination embraces the entire world, stimulating progress, giving birth to evolution.” – Albert Einstein

Make this the best week of the year! Nate
