Nate's Monday Morning Message

Welcome to this edition of Nate’s Monday Morning Message. I hope you all had a great weekend filled with fun and relaxation. I was thinking this past week how truly blessed I am to know all the people that have touched my life. I have been so fortunate in my life to be surrounded by wonderful people that honestly care about me. The road has not always been easy. The sun has not always been shinning. The wind has not always been at my back. One thing I can say for sure is that I have had great opportunity and I have worked tremendously hard. I have learned many things over the years and the one I think we all forget from time to time is be grateful for what we already have and the people in our lives.

I wake up each and every day and I think to myself, "Where would I be if these people were not in my life?" Where would I be if I didn't have them to lean on and to learn from? Where would I be if I wasn't there for others? I believe that the point of life is not the collection of material things, but rather the collection of moments that help and change others. I am well aware that life sometimes gets in the way. We have tough challenges to deal with. We sometimes get tired and quick tempered. We sometimes care more about ourselves than others. Let us know that is what happens and when it does snap out of it. We hold within each of us the keys to our own happiness. It may seem at times the keys are not working. Keep're one step closer. The people in your life are there for a reason. Open your eyes and take notice and be thankful and grateful for them each and every day. Thank you to each and every one of you. Let's get up and GO!

A small boy was walking along a beach at low tide, where countless starfish, having been washed up on the beach, were stranded and doomed to perish. A man watched as the boy picked up individual starfish and took them back into the water.

"I can see you're being very kind," said the watching man, "But there must be thousands of them; it can't possibly make any difference."

Returning from the water's edge, the boy said, "It will for that one." - author unknown
