Nate’s Monday Morning Message

Every day I get the opportunity to engage with a variety of people, from all walks of life – and people with unique abilities, some of which I wish I had or could improve. The other day I came across a blog written by Brendon Burchard, who is the author of the book The Motivation Manifesto. A section of the blog stood out to me, and has inspired this edition of my Monday Morning Message.

“There comes a time in the lives of those destined for greatness when we must stand before the mirror of meaning and ask: Why, having been endowed with the courageous heart of a lion, do we live as mice?”

Are you living your life with the heart of a lion, or as a cowardly mouse? As you go about your week, I want you to ponder this quote and see how it applies to your life. What changes to you need to make in order to achieve your greatest purpose? Who can you call upon for support? What are you doing to make this the best week of the year??

ENCOURAGEMENT CORNER

Our Greatest Fear by Marianne Williamson

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us.

We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?

Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God.
Your playing small does not serve the world.

There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.

It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.

As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.
