April greetings to you! So I bet your wondering with a caption like this, what do I have up my sleeve this month? I know a lot of us, myself included, have been stressed about the market conditions and the doom and gloom of the economy, the uncertainty of who will be running for president and of course, how that will impact our troops in the middle-East. During times of strain, human nature tends to kick into survival mode and we find ourselves hanging onto our money a bit tighter and our favorite charities are usually the first to be abandoned. In truth, goodwill should be something we put high on our priority list, always, no matter what. So I am doing just that and I am asking for your help!
On May 19th I will be participating in a charity golf event for Phoenix Children’s Hospital. As you already know, we are actively involved with Children’s Miracle Network and give money every time we sell a house. In the past we have been a part of other events which raised money for the hospital, such as our motorcycle run, golf tournaments, etc. This golf event is a little different than those of the past and this time, not only is there a challenge to raise money, but can I really golf 100 holes? Each golfer who is participating will attempt to complete 100 holes and raise a minimum of $4,000 and all the money raised will go directly to the Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Pledges can be as little as 25cents per hole and that is only $25.00, which for some of us, used to be our weekly tab at Starbucks! Our goal is to raise $4,000 per office which is a total of $12,000.
No matter what is happening in the world economy, the real estate market or at the White House, there will always be a child in need. All I really need is the change in your piggy bank to help me raise some money for a great cause.
